You can also claim you have a phone that does not support security requirements. If Apple no longer supports the phone, then it poses a security risk because it won’t update the iOS any longer. In my place of employment this would mean I could no longer use any secured apps like Outlook, Teams, or Authenticator. I may have gotten some technical terms incorrect, but hopefully you get this gist. Anyway, I have to use my personal phone because I am 100% remote. I turn off all notifications and I’ll be dammed if I open any work app after 5pm.
