Any recommendations for PNW based coffee roasters that have decently priced 5 pound bags of coffee? Either one time purchase or subscription would work for me. I see Stumptown has their 5 pound bags for $80-$110, if I could find something around $60 that'd be sweet.

Thanks!

Dillanos coffee roasters and lamppost coffee roasters both sell 5lb bags, but not around the price you're looking for. That might be difficult finding quality coffee for $60.

They're also pretty chill about holding subscriptions for customers near their roasting facility in Summer and have a small retail store.

Batdorf & Bronson from Olympia. Their Whirling Dervish is my favorite. They ship (even to olympia addresses) Orders over $60 are free shipping.

I really don’t think you’ll find anything in your price point aside from Costco and the like. Relevant coffee is the one I keep coming back to. 5lb bags are $105-120. Highly recommended.

I also like stumptown, Bardorf and Bronson, Coava, and Nossa Familia. Storyville is good, but I’m pretty sure doesn’t have 5 lb bags.

Oh! Maybe try Lighthouse Roasters? They’re probably closer to your price point than my other suggestions.

Conduit ships 5#. I like the Westlake or Ship Canal (darker).

If you can get to Whidbey Island perhaps you can get your hands on some locally roasted coffee from Foxglove Farms. Their 2 lb bags are around $25 so while I'm not aware if they do 5 lb bags or not, your other criteria are met. Maybe they ship, idk, but here's their info and you could contact them to check. It's really good coffee. https://whidbeyislandgrown.localfoodmarketplace.com/Producer/662bfd99-8665-4d9c-ae9a-2d634cb6d502

You can get Portland roasting at Costco and it’s like $10/lb that way, but it’s not as fresh. It’s $85 for a 5lb bag from their inner SE roastery. Great coffee though.

Montana Coffee Traders, you can purchase online and set up a subscription. I like them all, but the following are my go tos: their Mexico Dark, Montana Mornings, and Dusk Til Dawn
