For those that might not be aware, this view is at the end of a paved, 1 mile ADA trail from the trailhead/parkiing lot. So if you have friends with mobility issues or toddlers, you can still make it to this vista. Just keep in mind that the parking fills up early each day at this time of year. Dropping off your crew at the trailhead before parking along the highway is the work-around.

Nice pic, OP.

Thank you! Yes. Easy nature walk for a beautiful payoff and I feel like everyone is worried about doing Maple Pass (same trailhead) that no one comes here. It was packed but only about 10 other people were at this location.

Was there a lot of parking availible? Or was the lot ( and trail for that matter) packed?

I assume it was full as there were already quite a few cars parked on the road when we got there around 9:00. There were only about 10 other people at this lake when we got there and no one was there when we left about 10:45ish. I assume most folks were doing Maple Pass which we skipped.

Thanks for the info, seems like a wonderful lake. How was the hike up? Was it difficult or relatively easy?

It’s actually a mile long paved pathway. More of a nature walk than a hike.
