Hey guys! I’m looking to take my girlfriend to a resort in Washington possibly somewhere more in nature that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. She loves yoga so I thought maybe taking her on a yoga retreat would be cool. Or just a nice resort. I’d love some recommendations. Thanks for your time :)

Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine is really nice, not yoga. The Lodge at Snoqualmie, Snoqualmie pass, is nice too, not yoga

For what it’s worth, my spouse and I were there last year for a work conference and we wouldn’t go back on our own dime. It photographs well but in person you get the sense that things like carpet, drapes, AC/heat units, bathroom, etc are overdue for refurbishing or replacement. The value isn’t there. Others may disagree, just depends on what expectations are for a certain price point. Just felt shabby.

Another really nice place is Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop WA. She could drive over to east Chewach road and go to a yoga class at Motive Yoga with Stacy, the owner. They also have class Yoga and Beer! Only place I’ve seen that is Twisp WA, tne next little town over🤷🏻‍♀️

Read more about Doe.Bay on Orcas Island. There's a good chance it's not her kind of place but everyone has a different opinion on what's a "nice resort". Perhaps she'd be more into Sleeping Lady, Rosario or Seabrook. Don't underestimate the Pacific coast in the fall/winter but be willing to drive and adjust expectations.
