I’m starting to since I’ve seen Pete Davidson selling Taco Bell every time I open the app today

Omg thank you. It’s certainly made me never want to try Taco Bell breakfast.

Honestly my favorite out of fast food breakfast. Whatever that says

Been food poisoned twice at Taco Bell, yet still not afraid to hit one up every once in a while. Just don’t go to the one off Jamboree and MacArthur near John Wayne airport in Newport Beach, CA everyone!

LostandWandering- t1_iruj1hv wrote

Lmaoo same. I’ve had it before though it’s honestly not too bad.

Guys, seriously, use a 3rd party app. So much better. I've used "rif is fun" for years.

Red Reader here, it's fantastic.

Just curious... it says 'we' have analyzed over three millions tweets. Does that mean this was an analysis of which apps twitter junkies hate most? That might explain why twitter is abscent from the most hated list.

SereneDreams03 t1_irt8rzt wrote

I had the exact same thought. Looking at negative tweets, is not exactly the most scientific way of determining what the most hated app is.

43

bernyzilla t1_irugmp7 wrote

Yeah, my gut tells me Facebook should be the top hated in way more states.

Felinope t1_irvy464 wrote

Though there's also the question of why TikTok isn't here, as it's just everywhere.

I've used all the apps. Reddit was the final app I tried after giving up the rest of the socials. I never tried it because I had always heard it was a toxic pit of despair. Honestly I love Reddit and find it to be the least toxic. Maybe I'm hanging out in the wrong subs

Perenially_behind t1_iru4ncc wrote

You can make Reddit whatever you want. For me it's mostly about cats. With a good dash of popcorn and snark.

ChocolateChocoboMilk t1_irusjf0 wrote

Niche and/or passionate Reddit communities are great. Front page subreddits are godawful in just about every way. It’s an interesting dichotomy’s.

4

AdventureBum t1_irw0jq2 wrote

I like Reddit because it’s content-based, not oriented around personal feeds. To me that makes all the difference.

3

MoonWispr t1_irw8227 wrote

Agree, reddit is the least toxic I've seen.

1

Periwonkles t1_irxm3ga wrote

I’ve been using Reddit for a long time and, while I’ve had to change what subs I engage with over time, on the whole I like Reddit the most. I also feel it’s the least toxic, personally.

At this point the only others I use are TikTok (look, it’s problematic but the algorithm is a beast), and Instagram as a way to maintain an online photo album with friends/family.

ford7885 t1_irtis4r wrote

Looks like South Dakota & North Carolina got one right for once. Facebook is the worst.

26

UnkindPotato t1_iruodwj wrote

The lack of tiktok on this list is concerning

Remember when some govt agency said tiktok was spyware and then it was shown that the vast majority of the app's code is bloat tracking malware and most people seemes onboard with making thw app illegal... and then nothing ever came of it?

I mean, facebook made the list. The lack of awareness is concerning

__Quill__ t1_irtgu0r wrote

When I look at reddit on my phone I never use the reddit ap and it's always like "Are you sure? Reddit will make it so no one can see what NSFW reddits you're looking at" and I always think its pretty presumptuous of reddit to assume I am redditing in sketchy reddits.

7

DerekL1963 t1_irts7b5 wrote

If you aren't redditing in sketchy subreddits... why are you even *on* Reddit?

Let’s be honest. It’s all of you posting beautiful pictures of Washington. Now people want to move here and it’s all because of this subreddit. /s

Ya, knock that shite off! We've already got enough invaders, where it's almost impossible to get anywhere in a timely matter anymore.

fish_and_chisps t1_irttoq9 wrote

Whenever I get frustrated with Redditors, all I have to do is look at the comment section of a recommended Instagram post to remind me how good I have it here.

5

ChocolateChocoboMilk t1_irustf7 wrote

Twitter as well. I’ve never seen such a large gathering of absolute idiots screaming constantly about everything.

1

FFG17 t1_irwujed wrote

If you ever want idiots just being idiots for the sake of seeing who is dumber, often times praising themselves, go to a YouTube comment section

1

ChocolateChocoboMilk t1_irwzk47 wrote

As far as idiots go, YouTube is ripe for the picking. It is perhaps the dumbest gathering of people on the internet. But at least they're not usually as angry as twitter users. At the very least, the anger tends to be hidden in comment threads as opposed to being cycled throughout the website via likes and retweets.
