Yup pretty much anywhere there is industry you will see this. Back where I'm from the guys get $5 per pallet they bring back to the place that makes them.

This isn't neat, it's stupidity that hurts/kills innocent people. Washington has had criminal penalities for unsecured loads for quite a while now. Unfortunately it took a sheet of plywood going through a windshield and blinding a woman to get the legislature to pas the law.

I hope you called 911 and gave their license plate and location. Unsecured loads kill people.

Used wood pallets are weak and prone to crushing, which could be enough to make this whole load collapse. If it falls, the pallets will go in multiple directions right through other people's windshields. Swerving vehicles will hit each other.
