I think people who live in WA get the urge to visit Leavenworth sometimes. Isn't it a tourist town? Do you have something against locals in WA going as well as others from out of state/country? Your anger is coming through, I want to clarify it's because you don't want people on your trail or something?

Lottery is only for camping. not for a through hike... anyone can do through hike and I hope people see my post and do it. trails don't get destroyed by hiking. So long as people stick the trail and leave no trace behind everything is fine. :)
