All these flyover shots are so depressing.

At least there's actual rain in the forecast.

That’s the southern exposure; the northern side has full snow coverage.

I think you can spot the smoke plume from the Bolt Creek Fire, too. Middle/left of the summit right below the horizon.

Look, I grew up here. I love this mountain. But one day it’s going to kill every one of us, yet we still love it. What in the fuck is wrong with us? But I still love it.

It's not going to kill us all. Only those who live in hazard zones and those who happen to be close when it erupts.

There's really no reason to worry like that. For the same lack of a reason to worry about Yellowstone.

Nice! Always jealous of folks that are able to capture such photos. I suppose I have a few from cool mountains and smoking volcanoes (from far far away) but this is home, PNW, which makes this mountain more special.

Nothing I love more than Alaska winglets in a picture flying by Tahoma :)

Some prefer Tahoma or Tacoma for big gal! Mother of Waters, and very significant to a lot of folks. Not harping on you at all!! But definitely worth a quick search into her history if you have some time :)
