Check out the Bowl and Pitcher area of Riverside State Park. Lots of trails along the river and some really cool rock formations. Rocks of Sharon is also a good spot.

Also, Mineral Ridge over by Coeur D’Alene is a great hike with an amazing view of the lake.

Thank you! Just didn’t know if there were any “must-dos” in the area

Must do’s in my opinion: Mount Spokane-Kit Carson or to the top of Mount Spokane from the Snowmobile lot, Bowl and Pitcher area in Riverside State Park, Antoine Peak, Beacon Hill. It’s not that far of drive into Post Falls, Idaho to hike at Post Falls Community Forest which is beautiful.

Just because no one else is mentioning it... maybe I'm the dum dum for even bringing it up but make sure you account for the weather. Our first snow is expected next week and sometimes stuff gets icy here. I know that for me I hike with my Yak Traks as soon as the ice starts to show up, but I also fall a lot. And some of the trails are in places you can't drive to without the right car. It's only Nov 4th though so, like I said, I'm probably the dum dum for taking the time to even mention this. Happy hiking!

No thank you for bringing that up! My friends and I are all from Florida, so we’re very inexperienced with snow and ice. We will def take that into account when looking for a place to hike!

Dishman Hills. It’s in town but feels very isolated when you’re walking the trails.
