How long ago was this? I've been in downtown for a few years and Sandy Cove has flooded every year, but we've never been very concerned about it rising up and making it past Railroad.

It was definitely pretty, but the flow rate was really really low (which was pretty concerning up until the rain came back).
I got a shot earlier this year when there was about 250,000 gallons flowing over the falls per minute. I think the first shot is about 700-1000 gallons a minute.

From the 29th-31st we went from a 900cfs to 16,000cfs. Week and a half ago we were at a record low of 250cfs.

I lived in Snoqualmie, on the banks of the river, for 3 years. Out of those 3 years, I had 2 flood events. Both where all of downtown flooded in a matter of hours.
