A co worker did this for migraines that were intermittent. You have to work out your schedule. FmLA just guarantees your job, it doesn't guarantee your pay.

You can get intermittent leave with the PFML but I don't know what they cover for mental health. You'd have to check with your doctor to see if they would complete the medical portion of the paperwork for you.

yes, it counts. but you still need a doctor to sign off. you might have a hard time if you haven't had an inpatient stay or something serious like that going on. you can't just be like "I'm depressed and i don't feel like going to work for two weeks" and get FMLA. but if you feel like you really need it, get the paperwork and talk to your doc.

Yep, couldn't find relevant info :-(

Our company benefit coordinator is saying that I will be eligible only if I am fully out at least 7 days, and then I can work part time. I could not find any rule related to this in the site.
