Is that a good area to visit for coastal nature sightseeing and hiking? I'm new to the region.

Absolutely!! I’m new to the area myself but I promise the pictures I have don’t do it any justice, it’s so breathtaking in person. Just make sure you wear some good hiking boots if you wanna visit, the hike down to the beach is a bit slippery and steep but SO worth it

We are planning a trip there in December, hopefully to catch some storm weather. Colder, wetter, windier sure but it's all beautiful.

Come out during king tides. I don't know how they are up North but here on Grays Harbor it's phenomenal.
