Yes spikes were a must. There’s a path down to the lake but it was covered in 3-4ft snow

No I checked weather beforehand and made sure to do hike before snow fall picked up

Went up here via Rock Creek Trail back in August when the trail from Snoqualmie Pass was closed. Saw two other people which was glorious
