I’ve been trying to teach my kids about the brevity of life by showing them sunsets and sunrises. They change so quickly. I was recently driving over the Yaquina Bay Bridge and the sunset was absurd. Defined lines like Ernie’s shirt (Ernie from Bert and Ernie). I wanted a picture but refused to drive crazy to get it. By the time I reached my parking spot at Local Ocean Seafood the sunset was only regular spectacular. I took a few pics but only the first one was decent as the sunset quickly faded. Newport Sunset

It was taken from Graham, WA. It didn’t last very long. If it weren’t for my dog whining to go outside, I would have slept through it.
