I hate to be āthat personā but this photo is misidentified in the original source. This house is located at Brothers Greenhouse in Kitsap County. Itās local to me and a fave spot of my kidās, so I recognized it. Iāve got a bunch of photos of it myself, itās tucked away in the back of the nursery behind the greenhouses, and the owners decorate it for different holidays. Itās small, but the perfect size for a kid to explore.

Came here to say this was at brothers! Was surprised how OP says itās on the Columbia River gorge. - it definitely is not. Just went and saw this again a couple weeks ago. I love getting my plants from brothers. There is even electricity on the inside the hobbit house :)

"Misidentified " Yeah, right. You are being too kind. It's a lie.

Thanks- I try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially since OPās history doesnāt lead me to believe they may actually live in our state

Asphalt is a very common material made for roofing material, as well as the āgroundā does that mean most houses are underground?

The property is situated on 6 acres along the Columbia River Gorge with plenty of hiking and exploring opportunities. A breathtaking mountainside surrounds this inspiring dwelling. You will be captivated by the spectacular views and the iconic round doorway that frames them.
