Yeah I think it's a bit off to just skim over all of his shitty conspiracy theories just because he was a good football coach.

Turned wazzu from a perennial loser to having high win totals every year. They beat Oregon 4 or 5 years in a row with him at the helm and often lead the nation in passing. Could never figure out UW though lol.
His legacy in the sport is very far-reaching and goes well beyond wsu though. Father of the air raid offense we see all over college football today, and tons of current nfl/college coaches mentored under him
