If you're talking about Washington D.C. which I believe you are because that's where the Kennedy Center is, then you're on the wrong subreddit.

It pisses me off so much when I read news articles and they refer DC as Washington. I don’t blame this guy, I blame corporate media for being shit these days.

Going to help out a lost redditor. Martin's Tavern in Georgetown might not be exactly what you want if you are looking for a midwest-style steakhouse with that deep bourbon smell and massive steaks with baked potatoes and happy chattering people. No, it isn't that, but it is a Georgetown institution with its own history and elegant style - a great place for breakfast and lunch and Ben Bradlee spent a many a night in his favorite booth nursing a late night meal with Bob Woodward.

If looking for steakhouses in Georgetown, is Morton’s no longer around?

After dinner coffee at Au Pied de Cochon.

Or to get really deep, 1789 just outside of Georgetown campus.

But my info is 20 years old.
