Martin's Tavern in Georgetown might not be exactly what you want if you are looking for a midwest-style steakhouse with that deep bourbon smell and massive steaks with baked potatoes and happy chattering people. No, it isn't that, but it is a Georgetown institution with its own history and elegant style - a great place for breakfast and lunch and Ben Bradlee spent a many a night in his favorite booth nursing a late night meal with Bob Woodward.
It pisses me off so much when I read news articles and they refer DC as Washington. I don’t blame this guy, I blame corporate media for being shit these days.
