Why?

That’s just how long it took him to finish it. There was no rush.

They give a t-shirt or something for doing it right?

They didn’t say anything. That would have been cool, though.

Why would someone do this to themselves?

I had this a few years ago and it was one of the worst burgers I've had in my life. Root beer was really good though

I have done that twice in my life but I was 16, playing sports and weightlifting like my depression depended on it.

I’d have a heart attack now just looking at that thing.

Triple XXX Rootbeer in Issaquah.

How's the root beer?

BamBamCam t1_j3etvk5 wrote

Eh their burgers aren’t even the best in Issaquah, and the root beer floats are joke. They thrive off location and people into gimmicky old school stuff.

Black Duck Cask is just down the street and delicious. Or swing over to Habit Burger for cost effective stuff.

There's a Habit in Issaquah?? I thought it was exclusively a So Cal thing. Small coast.

There’s a handful all over around Seattle now.

Where's the best root beer in Issaquah? Genuinely interested. I've had, hands down, the best root beer in Vermont (and probably Florida?), would love to have the best of Washington.

Edit: Oh, just realized you said the burgers aren't the best. I'd be happy to know the best burgers as well, though, haha.

The places I suggested above have great burgers.

On root beer, that’s so taste specific. What I suggest is finding a bottled type you like. Only way to do that is keep trying variations, as there’s TONS.

I second the Black Duck burgers. There is also a new spot called Tipsy Cow that I haven’t been able to try yet…

Darathin t1_j3fe3dq wrote

Black duck is newer than tipsy cow, and their food is significantly better.

I've been to the Tipsy Cow in Woodinville. I'd definitely recommend it

Early in our relationship my now-husband and I hiked Granite Peak and then stopped at XXX on the way home for post-hike meal.

He ordered the giant burger, I ordered a veggie burger and a milkshake.

After we got our meals, I took a sip of my milkshake, put some mayo and ketchup on my burger, removed the onions, reassembled the burger and as I took my first bite I looked up and saw the giant burger was gone.

And that's when you knew he was "the one"?

(I'm the same way, just a bad habit from working in restaurants where you had to eat fast because you never knew when you'd get a chance to get a real break to eat)

What about the tsunami burger in Long Beach? Is that on the list?
