My friends and I are visiting Kalama from out of state in February and are trying to decide if we should rent a car or just uber everywhere. We're only staying for a 4 days. Are the ubers decently priced? Your input would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

Update: Hey everyone! Thanks for the input! My friends and I have booked a rental car.

I’d honestly be surprised if you found an Uber in Kalama, let alone enough to support an entire stay there.

How are you arriving? Where do you need to go to from Kalama?

There's no Uber in Kalama, but if you hop on the Kalama Facebook page there's an independent lady that will drive you places locally. She's not associated with any ride shares. You'll need to call her to arrange for it. For my money, I'd just get a rental.

Maybe an Uber would drop you off in Kalama, but I'd be shocked if one picked you up there.

Rent a car! Kalama is about an hour drive to the Portland area.

Can I ask, with all respect, why are you going to Kalama?

Can I ask how you are arriving? Is it some sort of ferry stopping off in Kalama? I remember them discussing that in the past and was wondering if it became a new destination.
