There are emergency repairs being done in Everett right now - delaying traffic severely, if that’s what you’re talking about.

I say let it crumble, throw every cent WSDOT and SDOT has at public transportation. Sooner or later people are going to need to realize that they can’t move around a dense city in their own 150 square foot room. It’s either that or continue tearing down infinite swaths of the city to continuously expand I-5 forever

have you driven on the death trap that is the detroit metro highway system?

Or just don't drive at rush hour? If you are in a car at rush hour then you are part of the problem.

yep, but too hard to change. easy to say "needs to be addressed", how? for what cost? people who are capable of doing it have better things to do, people who are in charge are too .... useless... so suck it up/adapt, nothing will NOT change in observable future.

I5 in WA is about 275 miles long, but I'm guessing you're looking at Seattle or Tacoma. If public transportation is available, look at it. Spending that time reading or sleeping isn't horrible.

WSDOT has a good website and tons of information about whatever projects are going on. They're also pretty responsive on Twitter and Facebook, but you have to do some reading work first, they get zillions of "how do I make my life better" posts, but they tend to answer specific questions.

yes, also we could just fly to mars. again, people who can drive projects like this ("good public transportation system") are getting more interesting jobs than being in city government. IMO there is staffing problem, government positions are not able to attract quality staff, so there are a lot of incompetent useless people doing shit on tax-payers' money.

So get get from work with something other than a car?

Cars take up a huge amount of space. I realize you want to drive everywhere, but it's just not a feasible option for everyone to do that. Look at LA for an example of what happens when you try to build a metro area like that. If anything we should be investing more in non-car options in order to improve the driving experience.

This whole thread started with you complaining about rush hour traffic, so clearly you do.

And so do I: rush hour drivers get really aggressive, and it makes me feel unsafe while walking. I really wish they'd make better live choices rather than taking out their anger on pedestrians by running red lights, blocking crosswalks, etc :(

Why you mad? You need to look up the definition of passive aggressive. In no way was I being that or being a troll. Someone went on a bitch rant and I called him out on it like what I'm questioning you. You get a life.

Bruh why are you even continuing? If I'm a troll then why do you continue feeding me you moron? A real adult would have done the sensible thing and just stopped but no here you are again and again and again because you're so desperately trying win points but still losing. Again I'm not a troll, I'm just asshole. So stop pretending to be an adult and stay in your lane kid, it will be all the better for you.
