North Cascades NP, Olympic NP, Mount Rainer, the Columbia River, the Palouse, the Nisqually wildlife refuge, Cycling on the San Juan islands, the tulips in the Skagit Valley, the rhododendrons that bloom in my yard, skiing at Mission Ridge, and the low key western people. I left out cross country skiing in Winthrop/Mazama. Also up there the chance for profoundly dark skies and the profound quiet!
