Washington state in particular has a crisis of middle housing. Spokanes solution is far from perfect and we need to fix a lot more in our city. And the state of Washington needs to pass statewide legislature as well

Thank you. I agree with your assessment of middle housing. Both the city I live in and the city I work for are starting comprehensive plans this year and are required to address that gap.

Get out of your bubble and come check out Spokane, it’s not what your Seattle friends told you it is. It’s the second largest metro in Washington

I don't live in Seattle, I live in Idaho right next to Pullman. So I actually spend way more of my time in Spokane than I do Seattle.
