Hello Washingtonians!!I I am leaving Sat for Seattle, I'm wanting to hike and camp somewhere with a great view up on a mountain. If you guys know any great spots that would be awesome! I am also going to the coast, lmk on that as well. Looking forward for some smoked salmon!!

I’d camp at the coast this time of the year, not on a mountain. It’s snowy on these mountains and the gear you’d need I don’t think you’d have readily available for such conditions.

One of my favorite places to camp any time of the year is salt creek recreation area.

Up on a mountain will be covered in feet of snow on Saturday.

Are you aware of just how much snow is in most areas of the mountains? Literal feet

Hit up Whidbey Island. Most scenic spot after Mt Rainier is Deception Pass at North End of the island. There’s a nice campground at Deception Pass State Park. If the weather is clear you get awesome views of both the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, driving up the island, especially from Greenbank Farms, about halfway up the island. This time of year, though it can vary, daytime temps tend to be in the 40s, and no snow. Any supermarket in the region will have a selection of smoked salmon options.

Not to mention the fact that the actual coast is at least a 3 hr drive from Seattle
