Bringing my nephews (9 & 7 y/o) to the 7 PM Monster Jam show tonight, not super familiar with the Worcester area; curious if anyone can recommend their favorite “family friendly” spot to eat in the general vicinity of the DCU Center (can be further if it’s worth it, coming from the South Shore). They’re not overtly picky kids, so it doesn’t have to be a basic menu or anything, looking for something that both kids and adults will enjoy. Bonus points for somewhere with extracurricular activities (pool table, pinball machine, arcade games, something along those lines) to kill time before the show. Thanks in advance!

Pizzeria Uno and the Mexican place, both directly across the street from DCUBare both solid choices for that age.

Bay State Brewery maybe? I know it has "brewery" in the name but it's a big place attached to an ice arena so there's always kids there and running around. the food selection is decent and there are board games etc for you to borrow.

Kids seats are just 5 bucks, cause you only need the edge!

Bay State Brewery is a solid option. I curl at the ice center so I've been there almost weekly for a couple years now, I've only gotten the food a few times but I've honestly always been surprised at the fact that it's actually pretty good. Service is great, the people are nice, too.

For a bonus, there are a few arcade games in the lobby, as well as board games, so you could definitely play some Cruisin' World (or whatever its more modern equivalent is called) to kill some time.
