I’m guessing there aren’t any buyers? Competition is pretty stiff. That said I wish 5 and Diner were still there.

They had decent onion rings, but everything else was pretty meh. And putting up a fake diner in the city that is the birthplace of the real diner was pretty foolhardy. It's like the investor who opened a Red Lobster on THE CAPE. What was the dude possibly thinking??

I mean, it's not located anywhere near any of the local diners. Its primary competition was Denny's. Compared to Denny's it was higher quality, but apparently not enough to justify higher prices.

And while local diners have superior food, sometimes people want that general category of food with groups larger than 4 people, and real diners aren't particularly suited to that.

I enjoyed it when it was open. Just find it ofd the building has sat untouched for so long in that plaza.

Yeah I’d definitely like to see something new there, but I think we’re a little saturated with burger & breakfast places right now.
