I was driving around at about 7:30a and it was pretty shocking how bad the side roads are, they dont look like they were plowed once. Crossing over into Holden all of a sudden every road is plowed and sanded.

ya my neighbor must be thrilled that he parked in a city lot and took a cab home only to find that no one was towed or even ticketed.

not one plow, either. the dpw is hot trash.

Around 7 they where super slushy.

I couldn't get up my hill or driveway this morning but they are stupid steep.

It's not really snowing as much as it is little fiberglass ice crystals.

Watch out for packed snow. stay off the hills and you should be fine.

Luckily, we're not known for our hills or anything.

I already called out lol. I live way out of town, I'm not messing with slush and ice.

Imagine a native mass hole scared to drive in this dusting

It's not so much the dusting of snow as it was the icy slush on the main road when I woke up. That and the continued possibility of freezing rain for the rest of the day, especially around my evening commute. Sometimes taking a pajama day is exactly what personal days are for. Sorry if that doesn't make me look tough on the internet.

Also, I just like to make these posts here so the community knows what they're dealing with.

It's not ideal driving conditions, but I took the drive from grafton street area to downtown to work today. There wasn't a lot of traffic, but everyone seemed on their game and wasn't messing around. I think due to their being no school this week.

Left around 9 this morning, definitely sloppy but not too slippery. No idea where the fucking plows are, this should be a easily manageable bit of weather.

Had no problem getting to work this morning at 5. Road crews did an awesome job. Granted I take mostly main streets on my way. Sleepy side streets were ankle deep.

2:30pm - Just got back. Major streets are clear, secondary streets are safe but do have some slush/ice around. Some neighborhood streets are still white all the way across.

Driving home last night, route 20 was awful in the Worcester area. Got better as soon as I got out.

Out just before 7. The main roads are mostly slush & ice. Good luck on the side roads. The highways were plowed but it's still slippery.

That's what I looked like out here, north of the city. I took a personal day. Fuck that.

I just drove down Brattle from Holden. The road is completely clear on the Holden side, but when u pass into Worcester they become horrible. They look like they haven’t been treated at all.

Anyone who doesn't wanna drive in this weather is a complete wuss. The roads are fine. Go even faster than the speed limit (do I sound like a New England pick up truck driver yet?)
