Currently three separate choppers, one state police flying real low and two additional (one NBC and the other too far to ID) are circling up just north of the Walmart on West Boylston Street.

Any idea what's going on? Nothing on the police scanner.

Yeah, I had found that but everything I was reading said that the hunt had finished around or before 2pm. But if that's what it was, then there's my answer.

They were hovering over the old stone church when I was driving past at 16:00. Tons of stateys on the bridge too.

Possibly, but I don't think so. I was up just past the 140 split and they were hovering pretty much directly over me. State police and the red chopper have flown but NBC is still making circles, slowly migrating it's way closer to the city.
