The barrel of wood is about the same as 10 of the bags you see in most stores and for a fraction of the price. Very easy to get to right off 146

These barrels sound like a decent deal for the OP. Other than that find someone that has a bunch of firewood in their yard. I'd probably sell some of mine if someone came up and asked.

If you’re looking for super cheap, you should start a new thread asking where there’s free pallets. There’s a lot of places you can just pull up and grab it. Just watch out for the nails/staples

I’m glad I came across this post, I’ve been looking for a place to get hickory wood for my smoker instead of getting the overpriced bagged stuff Weber sells, checked out the website and I’m definitely going to be giving them some business, thanks for posting the link!

Slightly off topic, but does Worcester still have the restrictions of bringing in and taking wood out of Worcester due to the bug/beetle issues a few years back? I seen this warning a while back, but have seen nothing since.

Currently, 110 square miles are quarantined for ALB in Massachusetts, in Worcester County. Quarantined areas include all of Worcester, West Boylston, Boylston, and Shrewsbury, and portions of Holden and Auburn. Eradication was declared for an infestation in Boston.
