If you’re in one of these towns you may be able to use the Interface service to help you find a therapist.

So long. So many waitlists.
OP - Pediatric Behavioral Health is pretty good. But you didn’t say what kind of insurance you have and that makes a HUGE difference because many of the behavioral health/pediatric OT places in central MA don’t take certain types of insurance. Insurance like United and MassHealth seem to be relegated to some of the worst providers.
Edited for clarity

Their wait list is consistently at least a year long

Wait lists are unfortunately quite long in most places. A lot of this is dependent on insurance but here are some ideas:
- If you have MassHealth, you can search here for In-home Therapy (IHT), which tends to have a shorter wait list: https://www.mabhaccess.com/Search.aspx
- If you do not have MassHealth, try searching on PsychologyToday.com
- Some places that accept MassHealth and various other insurance plans, and tend to have somewhat shorter wait lists, are Enlightened Interventions and REVIDAS.
- You can try the Open Sky Rapid Response Hub. They will do an initial assessment of your child and meet for a couple sessions. Then they will refer them to another agency for ongoing therapy if needed. https://www.openskycs.org/services/rapid-response-hub.html
- If your child is having a mental health crisis, call Youth Mobile Crisis at 866-549-2142

I guess it wouldn't hurt to get on the waiting list. For another option down the road.

Your best bet is to contact your pediatrician. However, I understand that the wait for child therapists is very long unless there is an emergency, and even then it difficult
