That’s likely it OP, I’ve called AAA for locking my keys in my car a few times and they were always there within an hour.

Yea you have to get on them, every half hour or so check in and remind them you're still waiting.

Nah. Only time I've had to wait for more than an hour for a wrecker was in a blizzard. I guess maybe I just get lucky? Or maybe we just have better tow companies outside of the city.
