We're not neighbors, but close. Fwiw I ran my address through FiOS availability checker this evening.

It said fios was coming within the next few weeks. I hope so! Id share the screenshot if reddit would allow me.

Oh, interesting! I picked a random address on Marcy (I’m around the corner) and it just said not available. This is good news!
