I am so pissed at these assholes right now. It's been 20 days since they last picked up my trash. They have rescheduled my pickup day 4 times. I keep getting up at 5 to bring my trash to the curb, then they don't show up and I drag it back to the house at the end of the day. My neighbor asked me if I wasn't paying my garbage bill, it's embarrassing!

They will give you credit off your bill if you complain, so that's nice at least.

I suspect with the recent spike in covid and the flu and seasonal colds they really do have a driver shortage. Still, this is totally unacceptable.

I'm switching as soon as I do the research to find a suitable alternative.

Who in Worcester pays for their trash to get picked up? I was only aware of having to pay for the piece of shit city bags.

I work for a company sells trash trucks. Not excusing the haulers but CDL driver shortage is no joke. Many companies are looking for smaller non CDL trucks to open up for workforce a bit. Not sure the cause, but it is a legitimate problem in the waste industry right now.

They missed our entire street the week of Columbus Day. I reported it to DPW the next morning & it was all gone before lunch.

The absolute best part is that there's nowhere you can take general trash to get rid of. Worcester DPW weighed one of my trash bags once and it was 1 pound overweight, so they slapped a sticker on it and wouldn't take it. When I asked where I could get rid of it they told me I had to split the bag up and wait until next week. It was after Thanksgiving and full of an old turkey carcass, rotting food, and dog shit. Glad I have family in a neighboring town, easier to just bring it there and use their bin.
