This doesn't surprise me, really. When I worked there decades ago, the one I was at was so desperate for a closer, they had one of the underaged teens closing the place. It seems like this is a rule they were willing to bend/break as needed, until they got caught.

Probably because an underage worker is less likely - for various reasons- to complain about it , especially to make a formal complaint - glad this one did. 👍
