i tried to listen to this and i really wanted to like it but it's just not well done. 22 minute episodes with about 8 minutes of actual content, volume jumps all over the place and the same exact 3 second audio loop over and over and over and over and over. the guy who hosts does a good job but man this podcast needs a decent producer badly.

Unless the producers want to end up at the bottom of Lake Quinsigamond, they had better let go of the Candace Scola suicide case. The Earlier the better.

Im sorry i tried to like this podcast. I mean i gave it the most effort i have given any podcast. Its just not good. The episodes are 20mins of little to no info. Literally only discusses what you could find out by a quick google search of the cases. No investigation on the podcasts part, no talking to anyone involved with or close to the cases. Its just not a good true crime podcast.

The last person to see Scola alive was her estranged ex-husband who her friends claimed was abusive if I recall correctly. He also had a bunch of scratches on his hands after her death, which he said was from putting in a window AC. He was also a lawyer who worked with the DA, and the thought is that maybe prosecutors didn't go as hard as they could have into the investigation. Nobody was ever charged. Sad case. Not even like it was some big hush-hush thing, or conspiracy. If you read the T&G articles at the time, the cops and columnists basically come out and say what they think happened

That seems like a threat, not a friendly warning.
Hopefully that means the killer is close to being exposed and they are terrified.

This podcast is trash, I can't stand the repeating clip of sirens ππππ

Itβs always been treated as a murder. Why they donβt put the evidence before a grand jury and let them decide it if should go to trial is what I donβt get. Every time Joe Early holds a press conference about solving some murder, I think what about Candace. Sadly her murderer is working getting cop killers out of jail.

I know a lot about the Scola case. The detectives wanted to charge him. But the blood evidence wasn't there...they know it's him but can't make the case. Sucks.
