Last week, I was driving on Park Ave heading toward the Shaws just past WPI. Construction was going on in the area, and the manhole covers were sticking up in the road. To make a long story short, I wasn't able to swerve to avoid one due to someone in the next lane over basically keeping pace with me. I was stuck, and couldn't move to the side. I hit the manhole cover, and it destroyed my rim, and the tire on it.

My car is a 2012 Lincoln MKZ.

I know it's a longshot, but would anyone happen to know where I could source just a single rim for my car? I haven't lived in Worcester long enough to know it like a proper local would, so I'd appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks Worcester reddit!

Try Sam’s Pull-A-Part, not sure how good they are, I’ve only been there once, But they’re close by and I think worth a shot

Alternatively, you can try linders. They’re right next to Sam’s. If you do end up going to Sam’s, you’re going to want to bring a jack and lug wrench or breaker bar with the correct size socket.

They would be the cheapest place and they have price lists on the website, you do have to pull the rim yourself there and then likely pull the old tire off.

Car-part.com go to the section labeled axle. Scroll down to wheel with image and then select the wheel you have. It will then tell you where the nearest ones are located. Terms of junk yards, the grades go from A to near perfect down to see which is a lot of scrapes and scratches. Good luck!

I really appreciate the response. I couldn't find anything even close to local, but it looks like a lot of these places are used to shipping. It's funny I didn't think of this. I did some software engineering work for a mechanic who wanted a custom inventory supply application, and I had to connect the car-part.com web site to his new software. Thank you for reminding me of it - again, really appreciated!

Go down granite st and pick a spot, if the two junk yards don’t got a rim that matches u can try linders shop, they may be able to get u something and it’s all on one street!

There’s an LKQ in Leominster. They have a huge network of parts across the country. They’ll have your one wheel for your car. Used them when my dad needed 1 wheel and it was an easy process.

Any chance the city covers this type of damage? I’ve heard you can file but just wanna make sure. I’ve a bent wheel from a pothole
