sticking with Major Bloom to support black female business.

They have helped me a lot, and their prices are fair. Their product is quality.

Honestly. This is for sure going to make me look a little closer in to brands I buy from now.

Support a local business or billionaire conglomerate.

Are they recreational only or do they have medicinal as well? Looking for a medicinal option closer to me as I recently moved and don't live down the street from Mission like I used to.

Rec only sadly, due to MA's current requirement that med companies be vertically integrated (aka having their own grow). That rule may change soon.

Their prices are pretty good even with tax though, their focus is mostly on affordable products since they're aware of the economic reality of the neighborhood they're in.

Sunnyside in Leicester has a medical side. So does curaleaf in Oxford.

What’s the appeal of medicinal? Not a smoker so wondering why it would matter.

For me it's simply not having to pay taxes. If you are just an occasional smoker it may not be worth it for you but if you smoke as much as I do the card will pay for itself by the end of Q1.

No real difference in the quality of weed although sometimes the medicinal menu is larger and you can buy more quantity at a time.

not only the taxes, but they'll often offer discounts (like $50 off $100) when you first get your cards as well as when you renew so effectively you come out ahead if you visit multiple stores
