New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill is one of Massachusetts oldest botanical gardens. Open year-around, their gardens represent each passing season with a mixture of plants, design, and art. It is well worth a trip for anyone in the area.

I went there for a team building work outing once.

We did a scavenger hunt looking for different species of trees & flowers on the property.

They were very nice! Good drinks and treats as well. The arboretums were our favorite part. A bit crowded in spots, but nothing crazy. Ticket prices are a bit much, but that’s everything nowadays, and it’s a great place to support anyway. But tickets are selling like hot cakes, so make that decision now.

Just went to Night Lights last night. Real eye candy but decided it would be even better with snow on the ground. I'm not complaining, it was comfortable temp wise and the lack of snow made for an easier drive. Our slot was sold out but not overly crowded, even the line for refreshments was quick. The best part was all the young parents with toddlers, for the little ones it was pure magic.

Yeah it's really nice. It's not just a bunch of colored lights, it's very artful in the way it's laid out and arranged. The botanical garden is just the best in everything it does in the warm months and so it's no surprise that they knocked it out of the park with this winter thing. All of this from a grumpy old man who's wife always says "C'mon you'll enjoy it." and I say " No I won't." Yes, go but don't wait it sells out quick.

They have great reciprocity, too. My wife and I have memberships and it gets us into Heritage Gardens at the Cape for free each year.
