Woah you can go to NYC from there?! The southern guy in me is shook ngl šš

It's about a 3.5-4hr drive via car or bus or about a 4 hr amtrak train ride.

You'd have to take the Grey hound to get to NYC but not a bad choice. I used to take them from Central ny to Worcester, added a couple hours to the commute but 0 driving and the ability to sleep. Certainly worthwhile adventure.

You can also get there by train. Union Station > Back Bay via commuter rail, and then Amtrak Acela to Washington Union Station. Not sure how much that would cost, but it's doable.

Youāre way better off taking a bus than commuting back to Boston then down to NYC

Maybe, depends on the person, but itās just not what youād āhaveā to do as if thereās no other options
And I will say, the time isnāt that different if you take the Acela. Plus, trains are fun

OurBus is way better than greyhound and it's direct! More limited schedule though.

Itās a 2 hour drive to New Haven and an hour on the express train right into grand central station.

Kelley Square got a makeover a few years ago. It's now just normal terrible and not a dice roll on your life.

Ahh I can deal with normal terrible

HA!!!! Kelly square once and may still have the distinction of being on the list of top 10 worst intersections in America. It was an adventure for sure, total chaos and just about everyone who drove through it were Massachusetts drivers to add to the demolition derby experience. I always told the uninitiated to close their eyes, take a deep breath and floor it. Saw a pedestrian once who was really drunk walk through the middle of the intersection. Wish I could have filmed it , this guy was like a stunt man, he came so close to getting killed but just kept going and flipping people off.

First time I went through I did in fact scream and floor it.
