I know That's Entertainment hosts some D&D groups, but they seem to be collections of one-shots or already established campaigns. Anyone interested in a small group campaign to play weekly? I was thinking maybe 4-5 players including the DM. We could meet at the main library branch on Wednesdays at 7 PM.

I'm definitely interested! I've been trying to get into D&D for a while, but would prefer to play in person and haven't been able to make it work yet.

Do you have someone in mind for DM? That might be the hard part.

This is on here every week at least. Seems y'all would have found each other by now.

I played D&D while I was still in Worcester. I ran a weekly game that paused for 5 months in the winter, and I played as a player in weekly game. Both were on Sundays! We used to play in garages for both games, one was unfinished, and the other was. You probably can't figure out which game was which.

Regardless, I've enjoyed my time with 5e, but by the time I come back to Worcester, I will not run it again, and I'd be hesitant to play in it again too. When I come back, I will run a d100 Noire campaign set in a fiction 1929 American city: Westville Falls.

After that I want to go back to fantasy, but explore other game systems.

I’d be interested but I won’t be living in the area for like a month

I'll join, I'll DM. I've got multiple modules I've wanted to try. I would just request a meet up before hand so we're all cool with one another

Right now, do pay some attention to the hot water D&D is in with their game license change plans. The 5e Subreddit is talking at length about it. (Link to megathread).

That said, Worc could definitely stand to support a larger TTRPG Community! I’d love to see more games here!

I've been wanting to get into D&D since forever but I don't know anyone that plays. If you are doing this and don't mind having a newbie coming on I'd love to be a part of it.

I’m interested. Been DMing and playing a little since last year and want to do both more. So I’d be happy to DM or play. Any thoughts of what type of game you’re looking for?

I'd join. I played my first round a week ago at the Redemption Convention so I'm still very much new.

A local game can have a slight impact on WotC in the form of Players and DMs buying books, starter kits, and whatnot from WotC.

I mentioned it here since many D&D newcomers responded to this thread who might value learning that the current game license is worth looking into, and so they might make an informed decision on it: pro, con, neutral, or to abstain.

I’m interested. I played a while back and kept wanting to join other D&D groups but they were always in a campaign
