(My bet was that despite the princess and dragon trying to tell him that the dragon's into him, the guy would be written as dense as a anime MC)

20th of september: Dear diary, I have been dropping hints all year for Lance, but he doesn’t seem to catch on to the fact that I like him, so I came up with a plan. I send a letter to one of my dad’s (king George) old contacts and was able to make a deal with a dragon trainer to arrange a staged kidnapping. His name is Arthur and we met up in a tavern right outside of the city walls yesterday. I will go to the ruins of an abandoned castle only a day’s journey away from here, this should be enough (I hope??). Anyway, I’m supposed to meet Arthur there in 3 days which after he will introduce me to Silvia (his dragon) so I’ll know what to do and how to react around her. I really this will be worth the while because I paid way more than I should’ve for this.
23d of september: Dear diary, I arrived at the castle today and honestly, this is such a beautiful location! It will be so romantic once Lance arrives here to “rescue” me! I just love him so much. We’ve been friends since we were little, our dad’s knew each other which made it even more important for them that we had a good relationship too. At first he used to be really shy around me (I think he already had a crush on me back then), but as time went by, he started to open up a little and we became friends. Our bond only tightened as the years went by. He’s truly my other half, which is one of the many reasons that I love him. But anyways, I’m letting my thoughts trail off. My meet up with Arthur went great today and Silvia is a real sweetheart. She’s a tough looking 7 meter long magma dragon, but give her some copper coins to chew on and she turns into a real big puppy with the ability to melt your skin off. Arthur just left a little over an hour ago to deliver a letter to Lance so he can come and rescue me.
24th of september: This waiting is so boring, but it’s nice that there are still a few books in the castle’s library, even though they are pretty damaged due to long exposure to the elements. Th library is a big rectangular shaped building near the east wing with 2 floors and is still pretty intact with only a part of the roof missing. It’s only two hallways away from the only intact tower of the castle, which is what I’ll be sleeping in since I’m not going to be sleeping in the open air (could you imagine?! I’m a princess for god’s sake!) and everyone knows that all kidnapped princesses always have to reside in one of the castle’s towers. I’m to go to bed now because it’s getting late and I’m exhausted from the long journey.
