Just felt I should mention that The Boys on TV is way better than the comic. It's much more sophisticated in how it handles the monstrousness of the superhero culture in general and the Seven in particular, and though it shares the same delight in gratuitously graphic atrocities it hasn't yet indulged in them to such an extent that they lose their impact.

This is literally just the plot of the Renegades series by Marissa Meyer

It’s a bit different, in Renegades the Main character thinks it’s super corrupt before going in but realizes that while it does have problems, it’s not as bad as she thought.

So you go undercover so deep that you end up a villain again anyway? Lmao.

Worm but in reverse, kinda. (Or just a Worm fanfic.)

Except for the kinda I'd agree.

If you reverse the prompt, it'd be

>You are a superhero who went undercover as a supervillain for jokes, only to discover how corrupt the system is in the villain society. The system is so corrupt that you agree to lead a small group of supervillains to rebel against the unjust villain society.

To get to Worm, you'd need to half-reverse the prompt, making it about a hero who joins the villains and notices the corruption in the heroes.
