What does patience have to do with being house poor? Patient or impatient I think it’s better to spend money on other things besides housing.

Getting the house you want when the opportunity presents itself may mean you have to suck it up for a while. So you can’t afford that 86 inch TV right now? Aww, too bad.

To me that’s house poor. I would rather have a less glamorous address with the 86 inch tv and nice furniture than the well to do address and no furniture.

That’s my life now. I could afford a more expensive nicer place but then I’m spending all my income on housing. That’s just not how I want to live. No one should have to live like that but many in this super pricy county do just that.

I could probably afford $2000 a month but I ain’t paying that. My address isn’t fancy and my basement is shabby chic at best. I like north Arlington but it ain’t the be all end all. South Arlington is a nice alternative. That’s all.
