I have a very similar question that I failed to address a few years ago: I measured the spectra of various light bulbs and I (unsuccessfully) tried to infer the perceived Color. I used the COE curve and all that, and it did not work at all, especially for fluorescent light bulbs (it told me the light was green when it was blue-ish). I would love to know how to go from a spectrum to an actual Color.
