I thought corgis were like one of the rare breeds with naturally no tails?

A few of them are naturally bob-tailed, but the majority have their tails docked. It was originally because they were herding dogs, so docking their tails made it clear they were working dogs and allowed their owners to avoid a luxury tax.

Now it's just tradition, though with more countries making docking illegal, I'm sure we'll see more long, fluffy corgi tails in the future.

No they all have tails until we cut them off them. The owners will say “I didn’t choose that!” While paying the breeder for the dog.
