Let them do things on their terms but encourage a bit. I brought to sisters home yesterday and they hid under my desk. Lay on my back under the desk for a bit last night and it helped them. Make sure you are building lots of positive association with every encounter so don’t overload them.

Yeah, it really is. I’m checking in like every 3-4 hours currently. Where I then lay down a bit and let them do their thing. Reward them, let them smell me. Let them get used to me talking, and what not!

They’re still so scared. They’ve been found alongside the road when they were around 10 weeks. So they’re not used to real human interaction at all. However, the amount of progress by both of them the last 24 hours is incredible already 🥹

I think mine already (mostly) trust me. But big scary new house with new smells is a lot for them!
