My cat yells at me for the following reasons:

  • my bed isn't made and the daily pillow, stuffed toy and blanket fort isn't ready

  • she wants regular treats

  • she wants soft treats

  • she wants attention

  • she pooped and wants me to clean her litter box

  • she wants to sing me the song of her people

This reminds me of a few years ago, when my dog was a puppy and my parents were out of the house for a day. Me and my brother were playing videogames, not realizing that the water-bowl was empty. My smart little puppy, not able to communicate with us in a better way, repeatedly hit the small metal bowl withing the larger, heavy porcellain holder with his paw, until it flipped out on one side just enough so he could pick it up with his mouth and present the empty bowl to us in our room. The bowl was never empty from that day on ❤️

What a smart dog!

Queso is pretty dumb though. The smartest thing he has come up with is to stare at us intently and hope for the best.

I guess cat-"communities" work differently, your cat probably just wanted to see whether his humans would supply him with food, if not, he would go catch something on his own. At least that's what I think a cat would be thinking.

He's an indoor only cat. Sometimes they find a bug or spider to hunt but that's as good as it gets. On rare occasions a moth gets in and keeps them busy for an hour or so.

"Even though the bowl says feed me, you are actually supposed to feed the cat, not the bowl. I don't even know what bowls want to eat. But I want kitty treats."

Truly he is as mysterious as he is handsome. If only there were some easy way to communicate with him?

Kitty is mere seconds away from turning to a poor desiccated husk of what was once a shining example of kitty-hood. You monster!

Take him to the vet, maybe they can figure it out. And.....maybe feed him first. 😂😂
