Might be a "community" cat. A stray that belongs to no one, but everyone takes care of. At my last job, there was one and it knew which cars to go to for a snack at which time. We had 4 different groups go on break at different times.

Where I'm from there are a lot of strays that don't belong to anyone. They just coexist with us not bothering anyone. We love them they don't care about us. Almost every Street has a feeding cup for these small frens
