I actually hope they don't. I rehab wildlife in the hopes to return them to the wild. That's why I had to work yesterday. I post to hopefully educate people on why they shouldn't have these as a pet.

I always thought it was just a regional dialect, or something, people just called them slightly different names.

Well last time I said possum someone else said that it’s an opossum but it might be regional

There is a difference. :) The one I posted about is a Virginia Opossum.
