Nugget is super cute! Hamster balls unfortunately are super unsafe for him. Poor ventilation, impaired vision (they already have poor eyesight), the gaps are a risk for toes, along other things. Victoria Raechel has a short video explaining why! <3

Hamster balls should only be used for 10-15 minutes at a time! Overheating and dehydration can really get them ill.

Omg, that's a good video, I can't believe how much hamster balls have been thrust into the media as if they're some positive thing. Hamsters and gerbils are such fragile, short lived animals I've always thought contraptions like this were stupid but there's actually several legitimate reason wow.
